Acne Rosacea Cure
Natural Cure for Acne Rosacea
Acne
Rosacea is a very common type of skin disease which
varies from patient
to patient.
All depends on its severity and subtypes. That is why
there should be different approaches that take into
consideration the specifics of each case.
The most important
step in treating rosacea is to identify the factors
that caused it. That’s why the National Rosacea Society
recommends that a diary be kept to help identify the
triggers.
Next, there are some
simple rules that you have to follow no matter what caused
your acne problem. Natural cure can comes if you
choose to clean your skin gently and regularly with
non-irritating cleansers. To protect your skin from the sun
use a sunscreen containing a physical blocker such as zinc
oxide or titanium dioxide.
You should consult
your doctor who can prescribe some oral tetracycline
antibiotics such as minocycline, doxycycline or tetracycline
as well as topical antibiotics such as metronidazole to
relieve pustules, papules redness and inflammation.

Some of the oral
antibiotics may also help to relieve symptoms of ocular
rosacea. A stronger medicine is isotretinoin which may be
prescribed if papules and pustules persist. Since
isotretinoin has many side effects it should be used in low
dosages. However, it is proven to be effective against
papulopustular and phymatous rosacea.
The centrally-acting
α-2 agonist clonidine can be very helpful for curing
flushing and blushing but it also has side effects such as
drowsiness and lowered blood pressure. A good alternative to
clonidine is monoxidine because it has fewer side effects,
but the bad thing is that most people find it to be less
effective.
Similar to α-2
agonists are beta-blockers like propanolol but they are more
helpful when used to relieve anxiety and chronic social
blushing than for general flushing. In cases of flushing
which occurs with red wine consumption or with other foods
containing high amounts of histamine the best medication is
antihistamines such as loratadine.
For prevention from
infections of the eyelids one must practice frequent eyelid
hygiene including daily scrubbing the eyelids gently with a
mild diluted shampoo – preferably baby shampoo or an
over-the-counter eyelid cleaner. It is also helpful to apply
warm compresses several times a day.
There is no doubt that
some of the best treatments or cures for rosacea are Intense
Pulsed Light (broad spectrum) or dermatological vascular
laser (single wavelength) or machines which use light to
penetrate the epidermis.
Oxy-hemoglobin absorbs
the light and the capillary walls heat up to 70ºC which
damages them and little by little they are absorbed by the
body's natural defense mechanism. Another cure method is CO2
lasers used to remove excess tissue caused by phymatous
rosacea.
